The Pure Body Difference

Schedule Your Physician EvaluationDr. Aslam brings three American board certifications to her approach to patient care.
Formal specialty expertise informs the medical evaluation and treatment of obesity and weight-related health concerns.
More than two decades of patient care inform clinical decisions that look beyond a prescription or a number on the scale.
A Different Approach to Weight Loss
Successful weight management should improve health while supporting strength and progress you can sustain.
Address factors connected to weight, appetite, insulin sensitivity, and long-term risk.
Look beyond pounds alone to how fat loss and lean mass change together.
Protect metabolically important lean tissue during weight reduction.
Build progress that can evolve with your health, lifestyle, and long-term goals.
Your Individualized Program
Your program is shaped by your medical history, clinical findings, goals, and response to treatment.
Review health history, medications, relevant labs, metabolic risk, and factors that may influence weight.
Prescription therapy may be one part of the medical strategy when clinically and age-appropriately indicated.
Practical nutrition guidance supports health, satiety, appropriate protein intake, and sustainable habits, individualized for age and clinical needs.
Treatment response, tolerance, health markers, body composition or growth-related measures, and progress are followed as appropriate for each patient.
Your treatment evolves as needed based on progress, side effects, health needs, age, development, and priorities.
Long-term planning supports health and sustainable progress rather than a temporary result.
Prescription Weight-Management Options
When appropriate, prescription treatment is considered within a broader plan built around health history, goals, nutrition, body composition, monitoring, and long-term strategy. For patients researching weight loss injections, GLP-1-based medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide may be considered when clinically appropriate.
A GLP-1 medication. Patients may recognize Wegovy® and Ozempic®; indications differ, and candidacy is determined clinically.
A GIP/GLP-1 medication. Patients may recognize Zepbound® and Mounjaro®; indications differ, and treatment is individualized.
You do not need to choose a medication before your visit. Evaluation comes first; the treatment decision follows.
Medication is one tool. Nutrition, muscle preservation, monitoring, and maintenance remain part of the medical strategy.
Individual Goals. Individual Physiology.
Care is individualized for adults, adolescents, and children, with the clinical approach adapted to age, health, development, physiology, and individual needs.

Adult Weight Management · Women & Men
Adult care may address body composition, metabolic health, appetite, visceral fat, life-stage changes, muscle preservation, and long-term maintenance based on individual priorities.

Children & Adolescents
Pediatric and adolescent care considers growth, development, nutrition, metabolic health, family history, underlying medical factors, and overall health—not simply a number on the scale.
Your Pure Body Experience
Start with a physician evaluation to establish your priorities, goals, and clinical starting point.
Continue with monitoring and thoughtful adjustments as your body responds.
Transition toward a long-term strategy designed to preserve your health and progress.

Meet Dr. AslamMedical Weight Loss FAQ
Essential answers about treatment, medication, life-stage care, payment, and our two locations.
Yes. Pure Body provides individualized medical weight-management care across life stages. The evaluation and treatment approach is adapted to age, health, development, and clinical needs.
No. Medication may be one tool when clinically appropriate. A comprehensive program also considers nutrition, metabolic health, body composition, monitoring, and long-term maintenance.
Semaglutide works through the GLP-1 pathway. Tirzepatide targets both GIP and GLP-1 pathways. The appropriate option, if any, depends on individual clinical factors and goals.
Weight regain can occur after medication is stopped. Long-term planning should address appetite, nutrition, activity, health goals, and maintenance strategy before treatment is changed or discontinued.
Younger patients require an age-appropriate approach that considers growth, development, nutrition, family and medical history, metabolic health, and overall well-being—not simply a target weight.
Pure Body Med Spa is a self-pay practice and does not accept or bill health insurance for medical weight-loss visits or program services. If a prescription is recommended, pharmacy-benefit coverage for that medication is separate and varies by medication, plan, and eligibility.
Care is available through our Sugar Land and Corpus Christi locations. Both are part of the same Pure Body physician-led medical weight-loss program.
Long-term planning begins before the initial goal is reached. Maintenance may include nutrition, activity, ongoing monitoring, and medication decisions when appropriate, with pediatric goals centered on healthy growth and development.
